Naturalistic Teaching Methods
•This is also referred to as teaching in the NET. It is when targets are worked on in the environment not necessarily seated at the table as Discrete Trial Training (DTT).
•This can be performed at a table, but most likely teaching in the NET would be working on targets where the child is: playroom, on the floor, playground, at the store, etc.
Then reinforcement will occur in the natural environment.
